The Arts Team

The Arts Team is an arts delivery team made up of five graduates of the Inclusive Arts Course (IAC).

They act as role models for our Inclusive Arts students and Special Education students by sharing their arts skills, nurturing students to be accepting of others and being examples of possibility and opportunity to students who lack confidence in themselves.

The Arts Team members, guided by our IAC tutors, build on their planning and teaching skills as teaching assistants throughout our Inclusive Education Programme enabling them to become lead artists on the Inclusive Arts Course in the future.

The team hones their skills further, planning and delivering creative workshops in Dance, Drama and Art for the Special Education Project and local communities.

Arts in Schools

Arts Team lead the “Arts in Schools” project working with local schools to facilitate creative arts workshops. Click to find out more about the project.

I Can…

In addition to teaching on our Inclusive Education Programme and in local schools Arts Team also create dance and theatre based on issues facing Cambodia. The pieces are performed for community audiences of all ages around Cambodia and usually include a workshop around the theme of the piece. Recently Arts Team worked with UNICEF Cambodia on a project which highlights the rights of people with disabilities in Cambodia
